Driving Dynamics.
From the racetrack to the road: track mode and Push-to-Pass. The optional Porsche Active Ride takes driving dynamics and agility to a new level on all-wheel drive models. The new electric motor on the rear axle of the Taycan and on the front and rear axles for the all-wheel drive models provides more power with less weight than in the previous model, offering up 1,019 hp Overboost Power with Launch Control and 914 lb-ft maximum torque with Launch Control1 in the Taycan Turbo GT models.
Performance Battery.
The optimized cell chemistry of the 28-module battery enables higher energy density - for increased performance that also delivers longer range of an EPA-estimated 318 mi2 with optional Performance Battery Plus. A new cooling concept for the heat pump, which is standard, also increases efficiency. For fast charging times as low as 18 minutes3 with up to 320 kW charging power with optional Performance Battery Plus and outstanding performance, the batteries are based on 800-V technology. The technology also enables smaller cable cross-sections, for reduced vehicle weight.
Air Suspension.
The adaptive air suspension with PASM reacts extremely quickly to dynamic changes while driving - depending on preferences and the selected driving mode with a focus on sportiness or comfort. For driving over uneven surfaces, the Smart Lift function raises the vehicle at the push of a button and saves the location so that it can react automatically in the future.
